CUPE Local 3287 represents all Sessional Lecturers and Applied Music Instructors employed by the University of Saskatchewan. Through collective bargaining and the grievance procedure, the Union works to obtain improved salaries and working conditions for all of its members and to ensure good relations with the employer. Dues-paying membership in the Local is a condition of your employment and is automatic. Union dues of 2% of gross sessional earnings are deducted automatically from your pay, as indicated on your T4 slip. Union dues are tax deductible.
However, only members in good standing are permitted to hold union office or to vote in union elections and referenda. In order to become a member in good standing, complete the application form below:
